Following 12 successful years of running several World Championship events both in golf and angling we are delighted to be launching The Berkley World Catfish Classic. Anglers representing countries from all over the world in June 2011 will be competing for the prestige and honour of winning the inaugural event and see their national flag raised.
History will be made when this event takes place and there is certain to be huge international media coverage. We are proud as the organisers of this event that it will be compliant with best practice angling making sure that fish welfare and the environment are respected and taken care of.
There is a huge amount of work to be done but I am confident that with the help and support of my team we will deliver an event that will live up to the high standards required.
