After arriving late in Chiprana Wednesday evening we have started to get things going.

The Marshalls have started clearing rubbish from along the river. And with the new Mapa gloves work has been made a lot easier.

The media team made a start on setting up the radio system, one of the most important peices of kit for this event as all fish need to be radioed in and accounted for.

After speaking with the local anglers there are a lot of catfish being caught, some even up to 180 pounds.  But also with the river being so high there are a lot of smaller catfish being caught between 15-20 pounds.

We will be regularly updating our Facebook and Twitter pages aswell as our youtube channel with updates as the preperation continues. We look forward to updating you in the coming days.
